Professional services for self-publishing authors

Softwood Self-Publishing was founded in 2017 by editor, Maddy Glenn, and, alongside a variety of proofreading services for businesses, we are dedicated to helping authors self-publish.

We can edit a variety of documents, including articles, pamplets, dissertations, fiction and non-fiction manuscripts, and more.

we charge less for larger manuscripts!

1. Once you've written and self-edited your own manuscript, you can choose your editing package via our Services page, with choices from Deluxe or Professional to Standard. The price per word lowers the more words you submit for editing, so don't be afraid to approach us with a huge novel! For a tailored package, get in contact.

2. Once you have chosen your package and submitted your choice, we will be in contact to schedule you in.

3. Alongside our editing packages, we can also collect a list of literary agents for you to query and even write the query letters for you!
