The coronavirus reached the United Kingdom in early 2020. It wasn’t until 23 March 2020 that the government imposed a lockdown, urging people to stay at home. The damage was already done.
In the face of this crisis, artists Antonis Sideras and Erik Papis joined forces to respond creatively to the events leading up to the British lockdown and its subsequent effect on every aspect of life.
The two artists created a collection of original writings and artworks respectively, which narrate their experiences whilst in lockdown.
This publication serves as a record of their outlook on the coronavirus pandemic, which attempts to show how the creative collaboration between Antonis and Erik, empowered the two artists during these unprecedented times.
