Mortician's Pride

“If you were to ask a mortician what they value the most, what would they say? I imagine it would be the mortality of human kind.”

Our lives are finite. Our bodies are built to die. A timer resides in our minds, silently counting each breath we take. We experience wrath, sorrow, hopelessness, joy, longing and so many other emotions. Sometimes we even lose ourselves in them.

This collection of writings and images captures the queer little ways our mortality influences our thinking, our life experiences and the way we look at our time in this world.
